The Road 60 project is part of the 12 km Begin’s Road project, in Jerusalem. The project includes two additional tunnels to the Gilo tunnel, 350 m long and 900 m long. ADI LTD. monitor anomalous dispacement trends in existing tunnel walls, throughout the tunnel mining period.
14 cross sections were marked along the monitored tunnel. Five (5) prisms were installed on each of 14 of the sections. The automatic measurement station was installed at one end of the tunnel and will be installed at the other end as the project progress.
